PEORIA-People are rallying against bullying in the River City today.
The Center
for Prevention of Abuse hosted thousands of students this morning at Peoria
Chiefs Stadium.
The center says bullying is
becoming more common but it doesn't have to be that way.
Center for
Prevention of Abuse, Jeanne Anders said, "Bullying does not have to be
part of a school day. If we can all stand up and support each other, then we
can make schools to be a safe place where children can learn and thrive at
their full potential.
Schools from as
far away as Chicago were at today's rally.
