DANVERS--The bar that allegedly served an underage man before his death is under fire.
Police say the Danvers Y Tap served three minors before a fatal accident earlier this year.
Twenty year old Nicholas Kauffman of Bloomington was killed in a DUI crash in February.
Authorities say he, the driver, and another passenger, all under the age of 21 had been drinking at the Danvers Y Tap prior to the accident.
The McLean County State's Attorney and the county liquor commission have filed a complaint against the owner John Irwin.
It accuses the bar of serving alcohol to underage customers before the incident.
A court hearing is scheduled for Irwin June 19th.
The driver, 19 year old Radley Monson, has also been charged in McLean County Court for driving under the influence in a crash involving death.
He's scheduled to appear in court June 12th.
