Gas Prices Continue To Fall

By: Bob Larson
Updated: May 7, 2012
Average retail gasoline prices in Peoria have dropped 1.7 cents per gallon in the past week, according to a release Monday from PeoriaGasPrices.com. Prices are 38.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago and 16.9 cents a gallon lower than a month ago. GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says short term relief should continue ahead of Memorial Day, easing fears of $5 a gallon gasoline.
