The search is over for a missing man from Ottawa.
His body was pulled from the Illinois River Saturday morning.
36-year-old Chris Strobel was a married father of two.
He vanished one week ago after a night out in downtown Ottawa.
Crews spent the week searching on land, on the water and in the air.
Saturday, a routine check of the river turned up Stroble's body not too far from Allen Park in Ottawa.
He was pulled from the water and pronounced dead.
Strobel's father tells us the family is both devastated and relieved.
They say want people to remember Strobel as a happy man looking forward to the future.
An autopsy is set for Monday.
