Pekin AMBUCS Chairty Auction

PEKIN-A local charity
is having a big auction night and hoping to reach a major milestone.
The annual Pekin AMBUCS
charity auction hopes to raise over a million dollars.
They have been raising
money to reach that goal for the last forty years. The auction kicked off
tonight at Pekin's Mineral Springs Park.
New and used items,
celebrity items, gift certificates and even some vehicles are being auctioned
off. All auction proceeds are divided and distributed to local charities.
Auction Chairman, Jim
Deverman said, "We work very hard to put this together every year. The more money we raised for charity, the
more we're pleased with ourselves and with the club in general."
With every person to
donate received a receipt that can also be deducted from taxes.
