The Pekin AMBUCS are hoping to hit a major milestone at this year's charity auction.
Co-chair Jim Deverman stopped by Living Well Thursday to share the group's goal of hitting $1,000,000 in funds raised over the last forty years. The proceeds from the auction are used to help area service groups, like the Pekin Boys and Girls Club, the YWCA and Amtrykes.
If you'd like to take action to help the group reach it's goal, the auction starts Friday at 5:00pm at Mineral Springs Park in Pekin. You can find more information here.
