The Peoria County Board Management Services Committee made four resolutions Wednesday for the full county board to discuss at its May 10th meeting. According to a county spokesperson, while no formal action was taken, the committee developed the following: for elected officials over the next four years: no pay increase the first year, then 2 percent hikes for the next three years; for the county board no increase in pay; for county board committee chairs no increases for the next two years and finally a four thousand dollar pay increase for the county board chairman the first year and $500 annual increases the following 9 years. The county board chairman hasn't received a pay raise in 20 years. The salaries must be set by June 4th.
