BLOOMINGTON - If you planned on going to the Eric Church concert in Bloomington Sunday night, you better find a back-up plan.
Church has cancelled the show at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum due to an illness.
The announcement was made around 6:30 p.m. in an e-mail to the media from the Coliseum. That's about a half hour before Church was supposed to start performing.
It would've been his second show in Bloomington this weekend.
Church performed at the Coliseum Saturday night.
The Sunday night show was added because of a high demand for tickets.
The Coliseum said refunds are available. Tickets bought using a credit card on Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded.
The Coliseum said Church is sorry and looks forward to playing in Bloomington down the road.
Church issued this statement Sunday night:
"I'm so disappointed. I apologize to everybody for having to cancel tonight's show. I've played shows with injures before but unfortunately cannot overcome having no voice. I hate this came so late in the day but I've tried everything I know of to get it back and wanted to give it as much time as I could to try and make the show happen. To the fans that were planning on attending, I owe you one."
