Police Make Two Arrests for Recent Armed Robberies

PEORIA - Two people are in custody for a string of armed robberies in Peoria.
One of them is 18-year-old Juwan Sturdivant. The other is an underage male, so his name is not being released.
Police believe the duo fired shots at three businesses between April 14 and 25.
The businesses are The Mix at 22123 N. Knoxville, Walgreens at 2215 N. Knoxville and Jimmy Johns at 1121 W. Main St.
The Walgreens location was hit twice.
Police say no one was hut in any of the armed robberies.
