BLOOMINGTON - Voting is now underway for State Farm Insurance's "Cause an Effect" campaign.
People are encouraged to go to the company's Facebook page and help decide which community projects, or causes, should receive a $25,000 grant.
Only the top 40 from across the U.S. and Canada will receive money.
Voting ends May 17. You can vote up to 10 times a day.
Three projects from central Illinois are in the running.
They are P.R.E.T.T.Y. Misses, which helps empower young girls and women, the Atlanta, Illinois Park District, which needs new equipment and Midland Elementary School in Lacon, which needs a new playground.

State Farm initially received 3,000 project submissions, but a group of kids helped narrow down the field to 100.
