A 61 year old Peorian, indicted for the city's 15th homicide of last year, was ordered Friday to undergo a fitness exam. Willie Mason is facing second degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, mob action and obstructing justice charges for the November 11th incident. Police say 16 year old Jacquille Tidwell Johns, a Manual High School student, was brutally beaten after the boy was apparently found trespassing at a vacant home owned by Mason. Mason is back in court for a fitness hearing May 18th.
