Ilinois Senate Extends Enterprise Zones

The Illinois Manufacturer's Association applauded the Illinois Senate Thursday for approving the extension of the state's enterprise zones. The Illinois Manufacturer's Association says more than 900 thousand jobs and nearly 50 billion dollars has come from these zones since their creation 30 years ago. The IMA says in a release it hopes the Illinois Senate vote will carry over into the bill being approved by the Illinois House and governor this spring.
