PEORIA-More people are losing their jobs out of Peoria District 150's school board meeting tonight.
The District first laid of dozens of part-time support staff at its meeting two weeks ago, along with more than 50 teachers.
Tonight, eleven more part time staff members were pink slipped.
The District says it's after they realized more cuts were needed for budgetary reasons.
The move takes effect for next school year.
There was no mention during the meeting whether the part time staff will get hired back.
Also approved tonight, Some of the district's schools are soon going on the market.
The District 150 School Board approved putting Kingman Primary, Kellar East, and Greeley Alternative School up for auction at its meeting tonight.
Kingman and Kellar East closed three years ago and Greeley closed before this school year.
Now, the district will spend the next three weeks placing legal ads for bids.
The district says the maintenance on each building costs about $50,000 per year and the buildings are no longer necessary for school purposes.
