Future entrepreneurs got a chance to kick start their businesses today.
It was Bradley's six annual Project Springboard Competition.
Six teams consisting of Bradley students competed by presenting their business plan to a panel of judges.
They ranged from coffee shops to a clothing re-sale store.
The winner receive a cash prize, plus free marketing and legal consultation.
However, many competitors say just being there helps to launch their future businesses.
Sherrie Sullivan says, "I think being here and getting the name out is really huge for our company, because we do plan on launching our company. This gives us a lot of really great exposure."
Many of the companies do plan on having official launches around Peoria in the next couple of years.
