Peoria Firefighters are investigating the cause of an early morning fire at Bel-Wood Nursing Home.
It happened around 3:00 a.m. in the 6700 Block of West Plank.
Firefighters say the fire started in the physical therapy room and quickly filled the main area of the building with smoke.
Firefighters say no one was injured but as a precaution all residents were briefly evacuated.
Firefighters think the fire may have been electrical.
