PEORIA-Private hearings are happening for District 150 administrators facing potential demotion.
The school board was in executive session starting before five tonight.
And the hearings are expected to go until at least midnight.
It's the start of the reclassification process of Irving Primary Principal Kevin Curtin, Manual High Assistant Principal Gloria Cox, and Trewyn Middle School Assistant Principal Michael Smith.
All are also given the right to a public hearing.
Glen Oak Principal Annette Coleman is also being moved.
But, last week, the district announced it would make Coleman an assistant principal at another school.
The district says it doesn't consider the change in Coleman's position a demotion, so she doesn't need a public hearing.
Coleman's attorney says she plans to fight for one.
Public hearings are scheduled the other three administrators Monday night.
We should know more information from the private hearings, then.
