LEXINGTON--A local woman is giving customers in Central Illinois another option to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Lindsay Bachman opened her new store, "That's So Sweet" Wednesday.

Bachman knew starting her very own business would be a big step.

But she says the area needed a cheesecake shop.

While several bakeries sell cakes and cookies, she wanted to give people another delicious option.

Bachman decided to locate in Lexington because it's a central location that has the potential to serve multiple counties.

She says family enjoyed her cheesecakes, and says now she wants to share them with the public.

"I was confident, and I just got married in October and there are no kids yet, and I said, I'm never going to do it if I don't do it now," said Bachman.  "So I did it."

To perfect her recipes Bachman has family and friends, serve as taste testers.

If business goes well, she plans to expand her operation in Bloomington and Peoria.

To place an order at the shop call 309-846-2396 or e-mail thatssosweet1@hotmail.com
