I.S.U's Jankovich To SMU ?

By: WMBD/WYZZ-TV
Updated: April 19, 2012
NORMAL - Illinois State men's basketball coach Tim Jankovich may be headed to the lone star state.  ESPN is reporting if Larry Brown decides to take the head coaching job at Southern Methodist University, he might bring ISU's Jankovich with him as an assistant, with the stipulation that he would be the coach in waiting when the 71-year old Brown decides to retire.

ESPN is also reporting that former Illinois assistant Jerrance Howard could join Brown at SMU as well.

ISU Sports Information Director Tod Kober says he hasn't heard anything from Jankovich as of yet.

We'll bring you the latest as it becomes available.
