A Normal teenager, indicted in connection with a gang related shooting on West Grove Street last June, was convicted Wednesday of one charge and acquitted of another. 19 year old Dakoda Pherigo was found guilty of aggravated discharge of a firearm while the same jury found Pherigo NOT GUILTY of aggravated battery with a firearm. Police say a resident in the 900 block of West Grove in Bloomington was shot in the face, causing minor wounds. Pherigo still faces a burglary charge which authorities say stems from the suspect's alleged entry into Walmart the same day where gun shells were allegedly taken. Pherigo, whose being held on three quarter million dollar bond will be sentenced June 1st. Two other teens were arrested for the same incident.
