MCLEAN COUNTY - Twin Cities based Country Financial is helping its employees Take Action for their health.
It's part of Country's 'Live Well Work Well' initiative. The company gives workers incentives to stay active. Wednesday, workers took walks around Country's facility on Towanda avenue.
Country says employee health is good for workers and good for business.
"Most of us have office jobs, so we are literally bent over at our desk and our computer all day long," said Country employee Cindy Rockhold. "So it's a great opportunity to get out and stretch, feel the air, feel the sunshine and talk a little bit as we walk."
Employees are encouraged to go for a walk every Wednesday.
