Big R Opens In Pekin

PEKIN -- Central Illinois residents have a new place to shop in Pekin.
Big R officially opened today. Big R carries everything from lawn and garden supplies to plumbing and power equipment. Managers say the store is more than 90,000 square feet big and has more than 100,000 items to buy.
Big R's CEO says the company has been looking to move to Pekin since 2004.
