Chiefs DARE Cougars to Score in 4-0 Win

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill. -- Three Chiefs pitchers held Kane County to two hits in a 4-0 victory Monday afternoon at O'Brien Field.
Starter Cam Greathouse (2-2) pitched six scoreless innings in his third consecutive quality start for the Chiefs. He struck out five and allowed the only two Kane County hits of the game.
A crowd of 5,102 of mainly grade school students watched the game. The annual D.A.R.E. day game is a reward for the students who've finished the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program this school year.
Relievers Alvaro Sosa (two innings) and Marcus Hatley (ninth inning) held the Cougars without a hit the from the seventh inning on. Peoria completed a three-game sweep of Kane County and is 5-1 on its current home stand.
