Chiefs' Opener Suspended Thursday

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill. -- The Chiefs still don't know if they've won their opener.

The season opener between the Chiefs and Cedar Rapids was suspended after an hour-long rain delay Thursday night at O'Brien Field. The game is tied 2-2 in the ninth inning and will resume Friday at 5 p.m.

The Chiefs and Kernals will then play their regularly-scheduled game at 6:30 p.m.
