WASHINGTON D.C. - Congressman Aaron Schock of Peoria joined the majority of the lllinois Congressional delegation in a letterThursday to Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan asking her to join 26 other Attorney's General in a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the controversial Health Care Reform bill. Schock says in a news release, in addition to what he calls the government overreach, many of the letter's co signers expressed as a major concern, the effect of the expansion of Medicaid to a state's budget that is already in turmoil is front and center on their minds. Schock says many believe the expansion of another unfunded mandate is the wrong message to send.
