Jays Solve ISU in Valley Tipoff Wednesday

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - NORMAL, Ill. -- For the first time in a long time, Creighton felt at home at Redbird Arena.
Antoine Young scored 21 points and the Blue Jays shot 50 percent from the field on the way to defeating Illinois State, 64-53 in the Missouri Valley Conference opener for both schools Wednesday night at Redbird Arena.
Creighton (8-3, 1-0 in MVC) had dropped seven of its last eight games to ISU (8-4, 0-1 in MVC).
