WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill. -- The Chiefs spotted Quad City a five-run lead but could never make up the difference Monday.
Luis Mateo hit a lead-ff home run and knocked in a pair of runs to lead Quad City to a 6-4 win over the Chiefs at O'Brien Field. The Bandits scored the first five runs of the game, all off Chiefs starter Frank Batista (2-4).
