Weather synopsis from Meteorologist Josh Stone - It's finally Friday! But thanks to a small disturbance coming our way, it looks like a few scat. showers will drape the area through the morning and early afternoon hours. Highs will be cool thanks to the northeasterly winds and cloud cover shielding us from the sunshine. By tomorrow, the weather dries out during the day, however by later tomorrow night... showers and thunderstorms march into central IL. and will linger throughout the day on Sunday (Mother's Day). Sorry about the rainy holiday forecast, but I'm sure you'll be able to find some sunshine inside with Mom this weekend! Have a nice weekend everybody and Happy Mother's Day!
