    "Taking Action For Operation Santa"

    Accepting all donations and cash contributions !!
    WMBD will broadcast "live" from Schnuck's at 6:00-7:00am, Noon, 5:00, & 6:00pm.
      
    Join WMBD 31, Fox 43 and Citizen SAM (formerly Central Illinois Proud Families of Marines) for Operation Santa 2009!  More than 35,000 stockings were sent to military men & women in 2008 and now it's time to take action once again. 
    Create a stocking, drop off items (list below), write a letter, or make a donation.  You can drop off your contributions for the troops at the WMBD 31 & Fox 43 offices in Peoria or Bloomington now through November 1st. 
    Offices are open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.

    Create a Stocking for Operation Santa
    Take a look at some of the stockings that people right here in Central Illinois created for Operation Santa!  You can create stockings for the troops.  Just download the pattern and get started.  You may even see your stocking on TV.  Drop them off at the WMBD 31/Fox 43 studio (3131 North University in Peoria) or Bloomington Bureau (2714 E. Lincoln) before November 1st.
