A man is in the hospital after he
was shot in the head near Club Apollo early this morning. The man was found
slumped over in his car near the club on South Jefferson.

One woman was in labor, and a wedding, all in one night. For new parents Renae
and Tim Callahan, Mother's Day is taking on a whole new meaning. Renae gave
birth to a baby girl-- Jolie.
No Power on Mother's Day

WMBD/WYZZ TV - PEORIA -- Thousands awoke to no power on Mother's Day. Strong storms and high winds were to blame. More than 29,000 Ameren customers were without power in Illinois this morning. Close to 7,000 families in Central Illinois celebrated Mother's Day without power, including 3,000 in Bloomington Normal alone.
If you see a downed power line Ameren asks that you call them immediately 1-888-672-5252. Ameren says to stay away from downed lines as they could be live.
