    The Community
    The entire population is approximately 5500 residents. The community  encompasses the village of Tremont, rural subdivisions & agricultural areas.  The community is truly engaged to support each other, the schools, churches & various civic organizations.

    Award Winning Schools
    In 2004, District 702 was presented with the Bright A+ Award, Bright Star Award and with Financial Recognition.

    Our Churches
    The community of Tremont consists of four churches. They are Tremont Apostolic Christian Church, Northfield Christian Church, Tremont Methodist Church and Tremont Baptist Church. All provide a strong & positive environment for the residents of Tremont.

    This year Turkey Festival is celebrating the fact that It Plays in Tremont. What plays here? Food, family, fun, you name it we have it. Join us for the festivities and see for yourself.
