What’s the black stuff on my ceilings and walls?
The black stuff could be from a hole in your heat exchanger where soot could be coming through.  Burning candles may also be the culprit for the black on walls and ceilings.  This is also polluting the air your family breathes.  Keep wicks trimmed to no longer then ¼ inch to help reduce soot from candles.
