About 200,000 fewer people than last year will travel by air. AAA says air travel is down largely because airlines have cut back on flights by nearly seven-percent. Illinois Police are stepping up patrols for the holiday. As part of the "Stay Alive on the I's" campaign - police are paying close attention to speeders, and seat-belt violators, as well as drunk driving. |
