Peoria -- While organ donation is becoming a more recognized topic, not everyone talks about their wishes with their family, leaving the decision to donate in their loved ones hands. Mark Hansen died almost six years ago at the age of 44.
He slipped and fell while working in his garage. Mark's brother, Greg, and his parents decided to donate his organs, believing that is what mark would have wanted. They have since received letters from one of his recipients; young woman who is now pursuing her college dreams thanks to this second chance at life.
