The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) says starting Friday, November 6th the right (driving) lane of eastbound I 474 at the Shade-Lohmann Bridge will be closed to traffic. The lane closure is necessary for crews to perform bridge work. Workers will be present from about 7:30am to 5pm starting this Friday and continuing until Friday, November 13th. This schedule will not include the upcoming weekend but will include next Wednesday's holiday. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are urged to slow down and use extra caution while driving through this work zone.
