The Peoria County Coroner's jury Thursday looked into the death of a Peoria man in mid September. The jury ruled 23 year old Harvey Powell Junior died of of a gunshot wound to the mouth and blunt force trauma to the head at a residence on Northeast Glendale and was injured by another and then transported to the vacant lot in the 3300 block of Southwest Washington Street. Two men have been charged with concealing a homicide but no one has been charged with Powell's death. 28 year old Khaalig Battle and 23 year old James Korderoe were both indicted in connection with the death. Powell's body was found early in the morning on September 14th. Autopsy results he had been beaten, shot and then set on fire.
