Thursday, Oct 29, 2009 @06:46pm CDT Congress has approved $1.2 million for Illinois projects including $100,000 for Lexington in McLean County for the construction of a new wastewater treatment plan. Lexington is the largest community in Illinois that still doesn't have a sewer system. Lexington has all but completed the design and specifications for these systems and is nearing the construction phase of the project.
