ILLINOIS - The Nursing Home Safety Task Force announces a new website to share information with Illinois residents.

NursingHomeSafety.Illinois.gov offers the public the opportunity to submit comments and keep tabs on nursing home safety in the state. Governor Pat Quinn formed the Nursing Home Safety Task Force earlier this month to respond to concerns for the safety of nursing home residents.

A recent investigation found some nursing homes across the state housing felons and sex offenders with people who have no criminal history.
