PEORIA - A former terror suspect from West Peoria will be sentenced on Wednesday. Ali al-Marri pleaded guilty to plotting to provide support to the terrorists who carried out the 9-11 attacks. Al-Marri admitted to attending a terrorist training camp in Pakistan, and to meeting with key figures in the attacks on the US. Al-Marri's lawyers are asking for a light sentence because of the years he's spent as an enemy combatant at a naval brig in South Carolina.
