Friday, Oct 23, 2009 @04:21pm CDT A Peoria teenager, one of four people arrested in connection with a string of at least 36 car burglaries in Tazewell and Woodford Counties, was sentenced Friday in Tazewell County Circuit Court. 19 year old Matthew Roe pleaded guilty to one count of burglary while other charges were dismissed and was sentenced to 150 days in jail and fined one thousand dollars. 17 year old Dustin Kolczak of East Peoria is charged with three counts of burglary. 17 year old Victoria Pickett of East Peoria and 18 year old John Blaylock of Peoria are facing one count of burglary. East Peoria police say the teens were accused of stealing I pods, GPS systems and money out of unlocked cars. Police believe the burglary ring had been operating since mid April.
