DUNLAP - The Peoria and West Peoria Lions club is providing an free eye screening that could help you prevent blindness.

The screenings are to test for diabetic retinopathy, which doctors say is the leading cause of blindness in adults today.

Anyone who has diabetes, a family history of diabetes or 55 or older is eligible for the free screening.
