PEORIA – The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announces that, weather permitting, crews will be working at the intersection of W. Washington St. and River Rd. in East Peoria from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm Wednesday, October 21st.

This intersection will be a four-way stop during this time, as the work involves replacing the signal controller. Signals will be off and stop signs will be in place while crews are working.

Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while driving in all work zones.
