Thursday, Oct 8, 2009 @03:25pm CDT HAVANA - Thirty Havana High School Teachers are getting a higher education for free.
That's thanks to it's new masters cohert program. The program will allow interested teachers to go through a two-year masters program under the direction of Western Illinois University professors. The teachers have the chance to earn a masters paid for by the Havana School District while holding teaching jobs. Those taking part in the program say gaining expertise in issues specific to the District make it a great investment for the city's future. |
