WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA -- The Peoria Pirates and Bloomington Extreme both were impressive in home victories Saturday night.

Bloomington quarterback Dusty Burk completed 24 of 31 passes for 214 yards and four touchdowns leading the Extreme to a 64-43 win over Omaha in a United Indoor Football League game at U.S. Cellular Field. The victory, which avenged two earlier loses to the Beef, clinches a playoff spot for division leading Bloomington (7-6).

Peoria quarterback Justin Rascati completed 18 of 21 passes for 230 yards and five touchdowns as the Pirates beat first place Louisville 50-44 at Carver Arena. Blake Farris had two fourth quarter interceptions to seal the win for Peoria (4-6).
