One of two McLean County residents, indicted for a bank robbery in Gridley earlier this year, was sentenced Friday to four years probation. 32 year old Barbara Dixon of Gridley was given credit for jail time already served. She pleaded guilty to robbery while a second count was dismissed. She and 30 year old Jerry O'Brien of Normal were charged with a January 8th holdup at the Freestar Bank. While O'Brien was charged with the actual holdup, Dixon was being held accountable for the same crime. This was the second holdup at a Freestar Bank in a month. O'Brien is serving a ten year sentence for his role in the crime.
