Illinois lawmakers are working to keep your kids safe. A bill to require school districts to share information about employees who have had run ins with the Department of Children and Family Services passed the Illinois Senate Thursday. It now awaits the governor's signature. The idea for the measure came because of the case against Jon White, who was sentenced for sexual abuse of some students in Normal and Urbana.
