A Chillicothe man was sentenced Friday to prison for two separate crimes but was given a chance at boot camp to avoid an extended prison sentence. 28 year old Brian Cox was given a three year sentence for burglary and a consecutive four year term for robbery. The burglary charge stemmed from a July 24th incident while the robbery occurred at the Pizza Hut in Chillicothe. However, if Cox is accepted into boot camp and completes it successfully, he can get an early parole, according to Peoria County Assistant State's Attorney Deb Shelby.
