WMBD/WYZZ – McLean County – An autopsy Monday could reveal answers in a fatal car crash over the weekend.

A 19 year old woman is dead after a two vehicle accident Sunday in rural Cooksville.

The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators say the woman failed to stop at the intersection of 1900 North and 2600 East, also known as Towanda-Cooksville, when she was hit by a truck.

The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital.

McLean County Coroner, Beth Kimmerling says the woman was wearing a seatbelt. More information is expected Monday afternoon after an autopsy.
