WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA -- A man was taken to BroMenn Regional Medical Center Wednesday afternoon after he was clipped by an airplane.

It happened southeast of Carlock  in the 19000 block of North 1100 East Road. McLean County sheriff's deputies say the man was filming the airplane at the end of the runway. He was hit in the head by some of the landing gear as the plane was taking off.

Deputies have not released the man's name. There is no word yet on his condition.
