Greetings from Iraq. Thank you so much for the stockings. We received 45 stockings plus a few extras. They are sure to brighten up the holidays out here for us. It is nice to know folks back home are thinking about us.
 
I am a physician deployed with a first Cav unit from Ft. Hood TX. I stay busy in the sick call clinic, mostly colds and twisted ankles. Thankfully there is not too much combat activity in this area. My medics do most of the 'grunt work' out on the roads. They are spread out between the large base here and some smaller outposts. I was able to deliver some personally this week and am in the process of distributing the rest.
