A former Metamora teacher and coach was indicted Tuesday by the Peoria County Grand Jury for allegedly having sex with a female student. Stephen Chromik is a former soccer coach. Prosecutors claim Chromik had sex with a female student last May. School officials say Chromik resigned over the summer. He is charged with criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He will enter a plea Thursday.
